MARNAC
In the middle of the valley of the Périgord Noir, between Saint-Cyprien and Siorac en Périgord, the small village of Marnac dominates the Dordogne River, from where you can get a wonderful panoramic view.
The village is named after a stone called "marne" (shale), which once was easy to find.
Its church of the XVIIth century shows an altar-ledge entirely restored.
